Terms of Service – FirstRide Taxi
1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by FirstRide Taxi, in particular passenger transport, airport transfers, rental car transport, and excursions with passenger vehicles. The valid version at the time of contract conclusion is binding. Updated Terms and Conditions are published on our website and are also available for inspection in our vehicles. By using our services, you accept these Terms as binding. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by FirstRide Taxi. Conflicting customer terms and conditions do not apply, even if known to us, unless explicitly accepted in writing.
2. Orders and Contract Conclusion
Our offers are non-binding. Travel orders may be placed verbally, by phone, e-mail, online form, or in writing. The contract becomes legally binding only once confirmed by us in writing or by provision of the agreed service. Customers are obligated to provide accurate and complete details (destination, date, number of passengers, luggage, flight information, vehicle preference, etc.) within a reasonable timeframe. FirstRide Taxi is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of the provided information.
3. Services and Performance
The subject of the contract is the licensed transport of passengers as agreed in the order. Changes to pick-up times must be communicated immediately; failure to do so is at the customer’s risk. At Vienna Airport, our chauffeur will meet you at the arrivals hall (InfoDesk area) holding a name sign or company logo and will wait up to 10 minutes free of charge. Additional waiting times requested by the customer will be charged according to our price list. In case of no contact within the waiting period (excluding flight delays), the service will be invoiced as completed.
FirstRide Taxi reserves the right to transfer contractual rights and obligations to third-party operators. Customers will be informed of such transfers and may cancel within 3 days. For safety reasons, FirstRide Taxi may refuse transport to persons who endanger safety, ignore chauffeur instructions, or damage/soil the vehicle.
4. Prices
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the valid price list published on our website applies. Prices include statutory VAT. Parking fees, tolls, and driver accommodation (if applicable) are not included unless otherwise stated. The price includes passenger transport with standard luggage; bulky items require separate agreement.
5. Customer Obligations
Customers must behave in a way that ensures safety and respect for the driver, vehicle, and other passengers. Chauffeur instructions must be followed at all times. Smoking in vehicles is strictly prohibited. Damage to the vehicle, deliberate soiling, or misconduct will result in the customer being liable for costs, including repair, cleaning, and compensation. Both the contracting party and the person responsible for the damage are jointly liable.
6. FirstRide Taxi Obligations
We guarantee vehicles that are roadworthy, regularly maintained, clean, and in compliance with Austrian road safety regulations (StVG).
7. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed, payments are due immediately after service. Cash payments are made directly to the driver, and receipts will be issued. Invoices must be paid within 14 days without deduction. Late payments may incur interest (4% above the base rate) and reminder fees (€10 per reminder).
8. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing and confirmed by FirstRide Taxi. Accepted between 09:00 and 20:00 on business days. Cancellation policies:
Free of charge up to 24h before the agreed transfer
50% of fare if cancelled within 24h before the ride
100% of fare if cancelled within 12h before the ride
100% in case of “No-Show”
9. Liability
FirstRide Taxi is liable only within the scope of statutory insurance. Liability beyond the transfer price is excluded unless caused by gross negligence or intent. Liability for minor negligence is excluded. We are not responsible for delays due to force majeure (e.g., traffic jams, accidents, weather, strikes, etc.). Passengers must report complaints immediately in writing; otherwise, services are considered duly provided.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All legal relations are subject exclusively to Austrian law. Place of jurisdiction is Vienna, Austria.
11. Final Provisions
If any clause of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid clause will be replaced with a valid one that most closely reflects its original purpose.
